Terms of Service

Terms of Service for SigninID and SigninID Sandbox

Effective Date: January 17, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SigninID and SigninID Sandbox services ("Service") provided by Peerborough, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

When you make a payment for our paid services, you also agree to the terms and conditions of our authorized payment processor (merchant of record). The payment processor acts as the seller on our behalf, and you purchase from the payment processor while receiving a license to use the Service from the Company.

2. Service Description

SigninID

SigninID is a secure email address service for account registrations, providing the following features:

  • WebAuthn/Passkey-based secure authentication
  • Email alias creation and management (Free: 3, Pro: 100)
  • Email receiving and sending
  • Automatic sensitive information masking

SigninID Sandbox

SigninID Sandbox is an email testing sandbox service for development and QA environments, providing the following features:

  • SMTP server (STARTTLS/Implicit TLS support)
  • REST API v1 (inbox and outbox queries)
  • Webhook support
  • Automatic OTP detection
  • Spam and security analysis

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

When you register for an account to use the Service, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for safeguarding your password and authentication credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Payment and Billing

Payments for paid services are processed through our authorized payment processor (merchant of record). The payment processor acts as the seller on our behalf, and you purchase from the payment processor while receiving a license to use the Service from the Company.

By using paid services, you consent to receiving electronic receipts and invoices. Subscription services will automatically renew unless cancelled.

6. Refunds

You may withdraw from your purchase and request a refund within 14 days from the date of payment without giving any reason. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request. Refund requests may be submitted through:

7. Subscriptions

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the next billing date, and you may continue to use the Service until the end of your current billing period.

Subscription services automatically renew according to your billing cycle unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the next billing date, and you may continue to use the Service until the end of your current billing period.

If you change your subscription plan during an active billing period, the prorated value of the remaining period under your previous plan shall be converted into prepaid service credits ("Credits") and applied to your account. Such Credits shall be applied against future service charges commencing with the next billing cycle and are non-refundable for cash.

We collect the following information to provide the Service:

  • Account information (email address, password hash)
  • Email content (received and sent messages)
  • Device information (IP address, browser information)

We comply with applicable data protection laws including PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act).

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Send spam, phishing emails, or malware
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Use a personal license for business purposes in a corporate or organizational setting
  • Violate CAN-SPAM or other applicable laws
  • Use the Service for illegal activities
  • Collect or store other users' personal information without authorization

10. SigninID Specific Terms

The following additional terms apply to SigninID:

  • Automatic Deletion: For free accounts, if you do not access your account for more than 4 weeks, your account may be automatically deleted without prior notice. This does not apply to paid accounts.
  • Sending Limits: Daily and hourly limits apply to email sending. Limits vary by plan.
  • Sensitive Information Masking: The Service provides automatic detection and masking of sensitive information, but does not guarantee complete protection.

11. SigninID Sandbox Specific Terms

The following additional terms apply to SigninID Sandbox:

  • Development/Testing Purpose: Sandbox is designed for development and testing purposes.
  • Personal Data Responsibility: If you send real user personal data to Sandbox, you must obtain lawful consent from the data subjects. We recommend using pseudonymized or fictitious data for testing purposes.
  • Data Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all data sent to Sandbox.
  • API Rate Limits: API calls are subject to limits according to your plan.
  • Data Retention Period: Email data is retained only for the period specified in your plan.
  • No External Sending: Actual email sending to external email addresses from Sandbox is not possible.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services including:

  • Payment processor (merchant of record)
  • Cloud infrastructure services (AWS, etc.)

Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, website, software, and related documentation are owned by Peerborough, Inc.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload through the Service. However, you grant us a license to use such content to the extent necessary for operating the Service.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be freely used by the Company.

All ownership and usage rights in service domain addresses and URL identifiers (e.g., <identifier>.signinid.com) are exclusively vested in the Company. The Company reserves the right to modify, reclaim, or delete such identifiers without prior notice when necessary for service operations, and shall not be liable for any damages arising therefrom.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no express or implied warranties regarding:

  • Continuous availability or uninterrupted operation of the Service
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the Service
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Compatibility with third-party systems or networks
  • Successful or timely delivery of emails

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
  • Damages caused by third-party service failures
  • Service interruptions attributable to you

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

These limitations do not apply to damages caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

17. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by deleting your account through account settings or by contacting us at support@peerborough.com.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You use the Service for fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Your use harms the Service or other users
  • We are required to do so by law

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our data retention policies. Certain provisions of these Terms (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability) will survive termination.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance.

For international users, mandatory local laws may take precedence over provisions of these Terms.

19. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:

  • For general changes: We will notify you at least 7 days before the effective date through our website.
  • For material changes or changes that are unfavorable to users: We will notify you at least 30 days before the effective date.

If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please stop using the Service.

Additional Legal Provisions

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior oral or written agreements.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, epidemics, network infrastructure failures, or any other causes beyond our reasonable control.

These Terms of Service are effective as of January 17, 2026.
